Daniel Jones, CEO at Orbit4, said:
"This is a massive moment for us at Orbit4. The feedback from our customers and partners has been awesome over the last two years. The platform has been designed by the industry, for the industry! Now it’s time to release the product to the wider market and we’re absolutely delighted and honoured to secure Steve’s services to launch the product in North America”.
“His extensive experience and proven track record in the fitness industry make him a valuable addition to our leadership team as we continue to grow and innovate”.
Steve started his career in commercial gyms in the United States, where he quickly rose through the ranks, gaining management experience in fitness, operations, and sales. His fitness career took an international turn, which led him to manage the Southeast Asia markets for Star Trac (now Core Health & Fitness), before moving to Life Fitness, Asia Pacific.
During a 10-year tenure at Life Fitness, he became renowned for his ability to find and develop new distribution partners in both established and emerging markets. His career continued to grow when he began managing commercial strategic accounts in addition to his role as a territory manager. His success led him to a Global Strategic Accounts role at Life Fitness headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois.
Before joining Orbit4, Steve served as the Director of Global Business Development at Therabody Inc., where he played a pivotal role in negotiating agreements for new global commercial accounts and driving sales strategy to expand market share in both the U.S. and international markets.
